At the age of 18, Paul Sheldrick arrived in Nashville Tennessee with a guitar and a dream. Now at the age of 30, he has played in several venues across the country. Paul can truly say he is living the American Dream.

When Paul first arrived in Music City, he knew no one in town. He quickly acclimated himself and started to learned the industry from some of the iconic inspirations in Country Music. From being backstage at the Grand Ole Opry with legends like Vince Gill and Alan Jackson, Paul knew he had to soak up the knowledge, then get to work.

One of his very first Nashville shows was a 4-hour set at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, which is the legendary music venue across the alley from the Ryman Auditorium. The Nashville newcomer didn’t have much advance notice for his Tootsie’s set – he was asked to play just hours before the set – but he pulled up his bootstraps and made it a performance to remember.

And if playing Tootsie’s wasn’t already one step closer to his dream, one of Paul’s biggest influences in music, legendary songwriter Tony Stampley has become one of Paul’s top co-writing partners. Together they’ve crafted several radio-friendly songs, which Sheldrick and his A-list production team are currently mixing and mastering.

Paul’s production team in Nashville includes Brandon Epps, who has worked with artists such as Jason Aldean. Epps is currently finishing Paul’s latest projects. With an all-star industry team, his family, and friends, it is no question that you will be hearing his new music on the radio very soon. “Back When I Was Green” is one of Paul’s singles and can be downloaded on all streaming platforms.

Paul has had a remarkable experience in music to say the least. All the relationships he built in Nashville including the time spent with Mark Wills, Lee Brice, and Jamey Johnson at the Opry have molded him into the artist he is today.

Paul has performed in Arizona, Florida, Tennessee, California, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York City, Oklahoma, and Georgia. He has taken the stage at the iconic Rippy’s Nashville, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge Nashville, Cadillac Ranch, Big Shotz, Roosters, Tilted Kilt, Orange Blossom Opry, 12th and Porter, Losers Nashville, Music City Bar and Grill and Billy Bob’s in Dallas. He has been the featured artist at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red in Orlando and has performed at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill in Mesa Arizona. Paul has also joined the lineup for festivals, including Mudstock Festival, Deland Music Festival and CMA Fest.

Paul was raised in South Georgia with his father, Howard who was also a singer, and he believes growing up in the South really inspired his career. Paul’s passion for Country Music originated from cross-country drives with his father, which is his literal “driving force” for his music as well as his family friend, Jannette, who also helped Paul discover his “southern roots” sound. Even his Grandmother instilled in Paul the importance of having strong role models and the significance music can play in ones life.

His favorite genre of music is 90’s Country, and he adds that old school sound into each one of his sets. Paul is great under pressure, demands the stage, has a great fan base, and will always strive to keep true to his unique sound. Paul’s musical development and progression throughout his career has opened doors that the once 18-year-old new comer on the scene would have never thought were possible. Paul currently resides in Orlando, Florida and comes to the magical city that started it all regularly to work on new music and play some tunes Stay tuned for upcoming tour dates and the newest releases from Paul Sheldrick.
